“Fun practice with math”
This application has 5 sub-categories: Count, Math, Series, Compare and Clock. Most of the sub-categories consist of 3 levels: basic, intermediate and advanced. Users are presented with pictures and expected to pick the number that denotes the actual count of objects in the pictures. Users are given the opportunity to practice the four operations in various intervals and depending on their skill level, they will have the chance to work with numbers close to 100. Essentially, the basic level focuses on fives, the intermediate level focuses on sevens and the advanced level focuses on tens. Correlational relationships are strengthened in other types of activities throughout the Series.
You can give your child practice on other numbers (other than 5, 7 and 10) and objects in the house. Alternatively, you can also cut out pictures from magazines and make your own counting game for your child. In terms of the comparisons (> or <), provide your child practice by timing him/her as a challenge to think faster and respond quicker.
