“Explore the world of puppy trivia to see if you are ready to welcome one into your home. ”

Any parent who’s being pestered for a puppy should start out here. Are You Ready For a Puppy quizzes kids on their knowledge of dogs and dog care, and gives them a good sense of the day-to-day responsibilities of having a puppy. At the end of the quiz, you get a score for your readiness to own a puppy. Some of the questions are pretty tough, and low scores might be just what some parents need to bolster their “now isn’t a good time” argument.

    “Information about Puppies”

This app asks a series of questions to determine the child's suitability for pet ownership, providing a score and recommendation at the end of the test. Puppy facts, puppy care and puppy trivia modes provide information at a basic level. Interest in this app will be short-lived.

“Great app for future dog owners”

Fact filled app with lots of practical information on dog care. Children can learn all about feeding, training, exercising and grooming a pup and later test their knowledge in a pup-quiz! An ideal app for those thinking about getting a dog. But be warned, if your child isn’t an independent reader, you’ll need to go through this app together.

“Explore the world of puppy trivia to see if you are ready to welcome one into your home. ”

Thinking of buying a puppy or does your child keep asking for one?? This app explores puppy facts and by asking questions about puppy life and care seeks to ascertain whether you are knowledgable enough to have one or not! An interesting and light hearted app. It asks your age, though the questions seem to be the same regardless and there are some errors of grammar and expression.

Family Activities

Learn more about puppies at home; buy a book or surf the web to learn as much about them as you can before you take the test!

Unless you are truly considering bringing a puppy into the family, there is little point in pursuing this subject.

If your child’s really interested in getting a dog, start with adopting a toy pup for a week (a stuffed one will do just fine). Spend time talking about dog car at the end of each day and help your child assess the level of care he/she was able to offer the toy pup. If your child forgets what needs to be done, remember to check in with this app!
