    “Simple, kid-friendly biblical interpretations”

While it won't replace traditional religious instruction, Kids First Bible offers pared-down, child-friendly versions of key narratives from the Old and New Testaments. Narrated by a soothing and expressive speaker and illustrated in classic story-book fashion with brilliant images, this app could be a good supplement to doctrine or stimulate awareness of Judeo-Christian biblical concepts and values.

“Illustrated Old Testament bible stories read aloud ”

Some of the most well known Old Testament bible stories are told with narration, text and illustration. From Genesis, to Noah's Ark to the story of Moses, and David and Goliath. However, there is no option to choose which story to listen to, and the entire bible starts from the beginning every time the app is launched. Though there is an option to fast forward page by page, it can get tedious trying to get to a story further on in the sequence.

“Exploring bible stories through an animated audio book. ”

Read through very abridged bible stories with this digital audio book.

Family Activities

Talk to your child about the stories in the bible and how the app's interpretations align with your family's faith and practices and/or core values and beliefs. Some parents may also want to include how the biblical stories align with science.

Ask your child what the lesson of the stories might be, and find applications for them in everyday life where these lessons can help them be good or kind or brave.
