This is a really fun brain-stimulating Math game that requires quick thinking using the four operations and the numbers at hand. The player has to figure out a way to combine the numbers provided with math operators (+, -, /, or X) to form an equation and reach the target result. There are four levels of clouds holding the digits for a while, with the first level holding the digits for the longest, and last level holding them the shortest. As the player progresses, the figures start to fall down quicker and the clouds let them through quicker. The speed increases by 20% over time to a maximum of 200%. The game is over when the digits fall through the last cloud level. There are tools to help each player, e.g. ways to slow the game down, to clear the equation. These bonuses are available for each player as help. It would be great if there are settings to help younger players develop more confidence as they work through the math puzzles. The game is definitely great for players who are solid in the four operations and have a great understanding of how numbers can be formed in various ways through the numerous operations and combinations. Developer Feedback It would be great to have settings to limit the scope for younger players, in terms of operations to use or number of digits to work with. This can be of great help in confidence building and practice for the younger players.
Using scrap paper and number flashcards, draw a card randomly and brainstorm with your child how the number can be derived. For instance, if the number 6 was drawn, ask which two numbers can be added to form the number 6, or what number can be subtracted from which to get the same number. Play around with all possibilities, and help your child explore the concept of numbers and the four operations.
